day 1: Arrival to the Mediterranean city of Barcelona. Transfer toward the Pyrenees (Fosca Valley)

days 2 to 6: Hiking in Aiguestortes National Park, across beautiful mountains, blue lakes and magnificent forests. Accommodation in warm refuges with nice food 

day 7: Transfer to Girona. The city's history dates back to Roman times and its attractions include an impressive old town featuring narrow streets and medieval and baroque architecture. It's remarkable the ancient Jewish centre 

days 8 and 9: The monastery of San Pere de Rodes and the recently established Natural Park of Cap de Creus to complete the walk by arriving at Cadaques. Nearby, at Port Lligat, is the former residence of Salvador Dali (now open to the public). On your departure day, there is an opportunity to visit Figueres which was Salvador Dali's hometown and home to the excellent Theatre-Museum Dali which is one of the world's leading museums of surrealist art containing much of Salvador Dali's work. Fans of surrealism should make a point of visiting 

days 10 and 11: Visit Barcelona: Picasso's and Miro's Museums, Ramblas,  Gothic town, the cathedral, old churches, Sagrada Familia, etc.

day 12: transfer to airport, return home
